Hi! I am a Sociology PhD Candidate at Northwestern University, where I am affiliated with the Institute for Policy Research and the Center for Neighborhood Engaged Research and Science (CORNERS). Currently, I am a visiting researcher at le Centre de Recherche sur les Inégalités Sociales (CRIS) at Sciences Po. My research primarily straddles two interests: 1) how quotidian features of community supervision (probation and parole) impact socioeconomic reintegration; and 2) the military's function as a grantor of social rights to servicemembers.
Formerly, I was a Research Manager for the Justice Lab at Columbia University. My past research reviews rigorously tested social policy interventions to reduce criminal legal system interaction and champions the strategic downsizing of probation and parole systems in the United States.
I am originally from Syracuse, NY, and attended the University of Virginia for my B.A. in Economics and American Studies. You can read my CV here and learn more about ongoing research here.
