Hi! I am a Sociology PhD Student at Northwestern University, where I am affiliated with the Institute for Policy Research and the Center for Neighborhood Engaged Research and Science (CORNERS). I study crime, social institutions, and labor using a mixed-methods approach.
Formerly, I was a Research Fellow for the Justice Lab at Columbia University. My past research reviews rigorously tested social policy interventions to reduce criminal legal system interaction and champions the strategic downsizing of probation and parole systems in the United States.
I am originally from Syracuse, NY, and attended the University of Virginia for my B.A. in Economics and American Studies. You can read my CV here and learn more about ongoing research here.
Please read my recent policy brief, "The High Costs of Veterans Affairs Privatization," in Contexts!
